Recently I've been evaulating and testing SQL2005 x64 running on
WIndows Server 2003 x64. So far, my team has been impressed with it's
performance and features, and would like to upgrade all our SQL server
    to x64.

*But*, I've run into compatibility problems with our 3rd party plugins
and add-ons. We use several ifilters, such as Adobe's PDF ifilter, and
Alnasoft's msg ifilter. Additionally, we also use extended stored
    procedures, such as xp_metaphone
    (http://www.codeproject.com/database/dmetaphone4.asp). The add-ons are
all x86, and so far I've been unable to find a x64 versions of these
programs, or any similar addons that work under x64.

Does anyone know of any companies that produce x64 ifilters (for either
SQL 2005 or MS indexing service)?
