Easiest option is to get a new email address if you're getting that many.
There's a few tips for preventing spam here -
http://www.scambusters.org/stopspam/ There's also plenty of software out
there that will delete spam for you -

    Hi

I'd get a new address from my ISP and never post my real address on
    usenet (newsgroups).

If you use Outlook Express go to...
    Tools> Accounts...> News tab> Properties button> General tab.
Under "User Information" change the "Name", "E-mail address"
    and "Reply address" fields.

Please verify that it is Not a valid domain here:

Please use 'invalid' after the 'com'.

Another NTL customer posting one hour in the future.

Why don't you switch to a real ISP? I wish I had
a pound for every time I've seen complaints and
problems about/with NTL, particularly the news
    service.

I seem to remember seeing somebody posting yesterday
about the same problem with NTL and a sudden influx
of SPAM. I suggest you contact NTL directly; not that
it'll do you any good, from the impression I get.

If those aren't suitable, you can always spend some time setting up some
outlook rules (I have about 25 set up in work, and I get maybe one spam a
    day now come through).

Heres a free clue: Don't put your e-mail address in the clear. There
are people on Usenet who `bots who reap e-mail addresses from Usenet.
It's too late now, but when you get a new e-mail address and feel it
necessary to post to Usenet, use something like martinREMOVETHIS
Better yet, go to Hotmail, Yahoo or some
other freebie web based e-mail and set up an account. Use this when
you sign up at some web site or as your e-mail address when you post
    to Usenet.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZT! Wrong. The munge should go
*after* the '@' , so that the domain mail server doesn't
    get spam. Eg:

Alternatively TLDs can be made invalid, by the use of 'invalid',
    like so:
    lid

are legitimate because I just cant see spot them. I have tried to sort out

that software and change your email address to one using their server. I
suppose i could change my email address but I have grown to love this one,
its so easy to remember and I hate hotmail! A lot of the unwanted mail is
very very dodgy indeed and I am afraid one of my kids will see something
they shouldn't. Is there not a simple way to stop it all?

You'll get more, now that you've posted your address to an international
newsgroup, where spammers harvest email addresses.
