    Hi -
I was getting very little spam in my outlook express. I went on vacation for 3 weeks, came back and now 7 out of every 10 e-mails is spam. My computer was shut down, unplugged and off for those 3 weeks. How has this happened and how can I get rid of it? Thanks,
    mal

There has been a sharp increase in e-mail crap in my world this last month
too. I have numerous e-mail accounts for different jobs I do, plus I'm in
charge of a small network with about 35 accounts, most of which have been
    complaining of the same thing.

In my case, I can't change my user name on the business accounts, but that
would be the best way to go. Start over with a new address, only give it out
to people you absolutely must, and have your ISP close the old account.

Or just toss the junk in the trash!

Again, thanks Mike, I have been harvesting all your great sites! Just in
case I have future issues, they'll be easier to find and I won't have to
    ask! Also-downloaded SpyBot & SpyBlaster-awesome! Thanks again-to you!
