I have Windows XP Home with Creative Audigy Audio Processor (WDM). The
speakers have to be on before I switch the computer on for the sound to
work. If I switch the computer on and then the speakers on later, the
volume icon doesn't appear in the system tray and there is no sound when
I try to play mp3s etc.

How can I set it up so that I can turn the speakers on after booting up?
I always forget to turn the speakers on and then have to reboot later on.
I know I will just have to get into the habit of doing this but it would
be useful to know of a different solution.

If you need any more info about the drivers etc let me know and I will
try to find it out (not too sure what details are required). The driver
version is 5.12.2.252 and it is in PCI Slot 4 (PCI bus 0, device 8,
    function 0) if that helps.
