Sound on 32-bit applications

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by =?Utf-8?B?RU1S?=, Mar 17, 2007.

  1. When I first setup XP 64 with a SoundBlaster Audigy card, sounds in my 32-bit
programs like Quicken and Office worked. For some reason a couple of days
ago, the sound in 32-bit programs no longer appears to work. However, the
sound card works fine when I login or when I run WMP. I tried re-installing
the Creative Sound Blaster software, but it did not solve the problem. Any
ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.
