sound card

    I am in the throws of buying a new game, the req on the case state that a
    100% direct 9 compatible sound card is required. how do I find out if my
    card meets the requirements?

    if you have directX 9 installed, then your card is most likely already
    compatible. The directX compatibility mainly rests with the version of
    DirectX being installed on the machine. Wouldn't hurt to have the latest
    sound card drivers installed as well.
