Sony DSC telephoto lens?

Any feedback on the telephoto lenses you can add to the DSC models
(VCL-DH2630)? I can only find a handful on the web. A couple of those
mention that the lens is only good at maximum optical zoom on the original
camera lense and that there is vignetting. I don't even know what
    vignetting is.

    Thanks

Well, it depends on which cam you plan to attach this to. It's only 30mm,
and only intended for certain cams.

*The DSC-P8 and DSC-P10 require the optional VAD-PHA Lens Adapter to use
this lens. **The DSC-P100 requires the optional VAD-PHB Lens Adapter to use
    this lens.
***The DSC-P72 and DSC-P92 require the optional VAD-PEA Lens Adapter to use
    this lens.
****The DSC-P73 and DSC-P93 require the optional VAD-PEB Lens Adapter to
    use this lens.
*****The DSC-W1 require the optional VAD-WA Lens Adapter to use this lens.

The P150. I know it requires the additional base add-on.

So any comments on the use of the additional lense?

Yea... Don't buy any of the EBay crap. You get what you pay for. Spend a
few extra dollars... you'll be happy.

Huh? I never mentioned Ebay anything. I'm asking for comments/experience
on Sony's VCL-DH2630 add on lense. I have the P-150 and am considering
buying the lense to increase the optical zoom from the standard 3x.

Does anyone have any experience here?

    Thanks

Nothing for the P150. But I do have a Sony WA lens for my F717... and LUV
it. With Sony branded hardware, you can't go wrong.
