I have a sony p-10, and like it very very much..

Those who have posted unflattering reviews of this powerful camera would be
well served to read the manual fully.

It is NOT a toy, nor actually a simple point and shoot camera. There are
    many bells and whistles.

I gave serious thought before purchasing this camera and as with anything
else, it pays to get friendly before judging..

    Just my $.02.............

Well said and the P10 is an excellent camera for high resolutions still
image. You doos has to read the manual and test out various settings to
gauge exactly what to expect with each..

    Walauu,

Are you trying to hard sell the crap sony DSC p10 camera? I was the
eager owner of this crappy camera, but utterly dissapointed. The
    manual doesn't help at all.
This crap was discarded already and I lost $100 for the better
    coolpix3700.

Just try coolpix3700 instead to know what digital camera all about.
That crappy blurrish dark photo results of Sony DSC P10 5 megapixel
camera is way behind this 3.2 megapixels.

Try then you understand, anyway you have this crappy camera why try
    your friend's coolpix camera.
    My $0.02.....

Do you have to make multiply post in the same newsgroup. Make your point
once in one message. I think you may have a hidden agenda.
