    Hi,

I have noticed that I get no compression when I connect to clara as seen in
the dialup properties window. When I connect to my works WAN or other
systems I get about 15% compression of my data. Do Clara support compression
or is it just not working for my modem?

I use an external ELSA Microlink Office modem.

    Thanks

Eh. Several things. One is, maybe not. Two is, at what point are
you seeing that compression (or lack thereof)?

The ULTIMATE test - Download a file, compute the average bytes per
second, multiply by 10, and see how that compares to the bits/sec
    connection.
