SNMP - Cisco - SNMP

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by news.easynews.com, Mar 4, 2004.

  1. I am using Nagios to monitor my network. Currently I am using ping to check
if my switches are up. Is there a better way to check host availbilty?
Perhaps there is an OID I can check? I am using 6509, 4006, 3548 switches.

    Thanks
