Smilies are now up and running fully :)

Does anyone have any problems with e-mail notifications for replies? I've been looking in to it for BigAl but can't see anything wrong at this end.

    Hey,....

....I heard that. This is a test for Bigal. I've changed my e-mail address to see if my ISP is blocking notifications to my subscribed threads. My new e-mail address is a G-mail account. Please post something here to see if I get it.

    Thanks.:knuddel:

    Oh yeah. The smiles work!!!

    Well..............

...............nothing in my gmail account!!! What's going on? I am subscribed to a bunch of topics with instant e-mail notification. I get only notification for private messages. Can anybody figure this out? This is why I'm not responding to many postings - I don't have time to keep scrolling through all forums. I live for those e-mail notifications. I am lost without them......:dead:

    But....

....it's much easier to click on the e-mail link and go directly to the topic to see the latest replies. I can't live without them. I wonder if someone can fix my account. I would hate to be required to create a new account and start over as a newbee....:ahhhh:

That would suck, but like I said, there's so little activity right now, just check once a day, you can get through all the posts, whether they're of interest or not, in about 5 minutes. Hopefully the bug can be fixed though.

I use a news reader for newsgroups, seems like a nice idea though, nothing wrong with it.

They shouldn't appear on the new posts list, so I'll get rid of that :) They'll still be on the site as its a really handy way of reading them.
