I have just done a "clean" reinstall of windows 2000 professional on my
laptop, (because of a number of problems that were messing things up). I
have been successful in all respects in rebuilding my programmes, files etc.
    except for one.

I cannot get the display to return to the full size window 1024 X
something.......... the best I can get is 800 x something etc. This
    from the settings/display functions

I know there is a file in there somewhere which immediately gives the
desired resolutions ( and the colour sets to go with them). If anyone
can point them out to me I shall be grateful as my eyes are beginning to
hurt peering at a small screen!
