Slightly OT: 12 bit DAC vs. 10 bit DAC

    Is there a significant difference in resolution / picture quality
    between a 12 bit DAC and a 10 bit? Thanks for your opinions n dvance...

    Yes, especially in Progressive Scan mode. The deinterlacer is twice as fast
    (108MHz vs 54MHz)
    I've done side by side comparisons, the Sony (for the money) is the best by
    far. Much less artifacts.
