Signed EXE in Vista doesnt't help

Discussion in 'Microsoft Certification' started by Peter Gustafsson, Jan 23, 2008.

  1. Hi

I have created self-signed certificate (.pfx) with an application from
    abylon called SELFCERT.

Then I sign a EXE using signcode.exe from Microsoft.
That seems to work, but when I run EXE in Vista I still get a "unidentified
    publisher"-message.

What I have found on Internet, is that my certificate is a Root certificate
but I should use a Child certificate.

But, how can I create a Child certificate??
