My boss is looking into leasing either the 8400, the 8908 or the 8916. The TV
we would be using it with has simple RCA cable hookup. If we were to record
from a particular source (DVD, VHS) to a DVD, would the resulting quality be
markedly different from recording on to VHS? Or is it about the same, and the
benifit is that the image quality on the DVD won't deteriorate over time?

Thanks for any help and for any other pertinent info as well.
