Shuttle KPC

  1. Just came from a friend who's bought 10(!) of the things at $300 each.
    Helped him set up Ubuntu Jaunty Server on one. Desktop compositing in KDE
    was a bit sluggish, but what do you expect when the poor thing is driving a
    24" screen. :)

    How, pray tell, does the diagonal dimension of the screen make desktop
    compositing sluggish?

    He has a full sized mirror in front of himself while tossing off, that's
    his friend!
