I run a region 1 site and not a R2 PAL site so I prefer not to answer.

Where the real Mark Rivera? He is helpful and well informed and would
have remembered me from all the free stuff I have sent him. This must
be some child relative logged onto his account.

why do my PAL tapes say 555 minute version?

Shouldn't have been a hard question to answer. WHICH IS IN CONTRAST TO
YOUR STATEMENT THAT THE 547 MINUTE VERSION YOU REVIEWED IS UNCUT. Just
think, all your years of journalistic integrity were riding on this
    question and you responded.

Wouldn't it have to do with the PAL speedup?

In that case the PAL would be even shorter.

Perhaps your pal tapes were divided into more episodes, thus giving
way to more resumes, opening and end credits?

    just a thought
