setting up a password

Discussion in 'Wireless Networking' started by =?Utf-8?B?TnljaGljazM=?=, Aug 26, 2005.

  1. I just moved into an apt building and have a wireless network, I wanted to
put a password on it to prevent others from using my network, does anyone
know how to do this (add a password to an existing network) or know of
somewhere I can get simple directions?

    Thanks all

you want to read your router documentation to see if it does wpa or wep
encryption and see how to turn that on.
