SCO and NZOSS response

Discussion in 'NZ Computing' started by Peter Harrison, Aug 23, 2003.

  1. Craig Horrocks, a solicitor who deals in intellectual property, and who is
the official solicitor of the NZOSS, has written a question answer type
article for ComputerWorld which addresses the issues we currently have with
SCO. It makes clear the fact that if SCO does not win its case you will not
be able to claim any money back from SCO if you have paid for its "SCO
    Linux License".

The NZOSS is interested in hearing from anyone with concerns about the SCO
case, or anyone who is experiecing damage as a result. You can also join
our open mailing list at: To report
information to the NZOSS confidentially please email to Peter Harrison.
