SATA RAID drivers

  1. when trying to install windows x64.. press f6 then select the silicon image
    on the floppy disk. but the 1 i got is for 32-bit windows. now i went online
    to get the 64 bit compatible 1 but its 1.63 mb ziped unziped 1.91 mb. do i
    use 2 disks to do it or im not sure if this is the right driver..?

  2. Unzip the file and copy only the sata , raid drivers in the folder , you
    don't need the full install program.
    Tthat you can install after the OS is Installed later...

    What is on the file. Sometimes there is an exe that writes the floppy for
    you. In that case it will be larger than the floppy, and things will be
    okay. Why don't you provide more information as to what motherboard you are
    talking about and the file you downloaded.

  5. The download you found obviously includes more than just the driver disk.
    This is fairly typical. Unzip the drivers to a directory, and examine the
    directory structure. There is likely either a "drvdisk" or "driver" or "x64"
    or some such similar directory that will include 3-6 or 7 files. One or more
    ..INFs, a TXTSETUP.OEM, one or more .SYSs, and one or more .CAT files. And
    possible a file with no extension at all. Copy all of these files to a
    freshly formatted floppy disk.
