Running RIS on a Web Server?

  1. Can I run RIS on a Web server running Windows 2003 Server? If no...why?

  2. If you mean can you install RIS on Windows Server 2003 Web Server Edition
    then the answer is no.

    If you mean you you install RIS on Windows Server 2003 Std, Enterprise or
    Data Center Editions which happens to be running IIS, then the answer is
    yes.

    Why? By design.
