    When you open the run function in windows XP pro, and type msconfig or cmd,
    i have some things that i want to remove from the box that drops down when
    you press the arrow on the left, as i entered a few wrong commands.Is there
    a way to remove them.Thxs for you time

    dumb ass, backspace doesn't remove existing entries in the list.

    Why bother? There are a few small entries, a few bytes of information. It's
    not exactly cluttering up your computer, now is it?

    If you are seriously interested in clearing that list, you would have to
    edit your registry. Are you sure you want to do that?

    Works for win2K:

    Right click on a blank area of the toolbar then select "Properties"
    then "Advanced" and then "Clear".
