Routing issue Net Unreachable

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by David Culliton, Nov 10, 2004.

  1. Have the following scenario - Cisco 2621 (Dual T1) & 1605 over a T1.

    ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 64.66.97.1
    ip route 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 Serial0/0
    ip route 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 64.66.97.1 permanent
    ip route 64.66.96.200 255.255.255.248 64.66.96.194
    ip route 64.66.96.208 255.255.255.248 64.66.96.194 permanent

This allows for a ping to successfully occur on 64.66.96.209-214. We
are in the process of adding more machines to that subnet and are
having an issue. I have tried adding the following in place of the
    current 208 entry :

    ip route 64.66.96.208 255.255.255.240 64.66.96.194 permanent

    I have also tried :

    ip route 64.66.96.208 255.255.255.248 64.66.96.194 permanent
    ip route 64.66.96.216 255.255.255.248 64.66.96.194 permanent
    ip route 64.66.96.224 255.255.255.248 64.66.96.194 permanent

It seems that nothing I try to add in the routings have any effect as
I can still not ping above 214. Any ideas would be appreciated.
