Is there a way with an extended ping to create traffic with any precison?
Such as testing a T1 circuit and wanting to send 1Mbps of traffic across for an extended period?

    TIA

If you have such IOS, you could use ttcp for testing. Check feature
navigator to see which IOS do you need.
