Man that thing looks flimsy, is it just me or is it actually made out of aluminum foil? Looks like it.

ThermalTAKE... They TAKE your money and give you HEAT.

    Oh come on...

....it could keep you warm on a cold night. Isn't this more like an external drive case, but instead of IDE, it supports SATA? And what's with the 300MB/s rating; for SATA I it's 1.5 GB/s, and for SATA II it's 3.0 GB/s. Also, there is no official "SATA II" name, but it's become the common reference for the 3 GB interface.:lollypop:

Its not aluminum foil its actually quite strong. But i wouldn't even think of dropping it. Thats like saying ooolala lets test if a HDD can withstand 5 g's!

Yer but the fact is, it was keeping my HDD at 45°C :|

Take out the HDD and put a pop tart in it and then drop it.

Wait, I just noticed you said it kept your HDD at 45c... That's insane. My HDD enclosures (Infinity Customs designed, not something you can buy off the rack) keep your HDD at 25c, or roughly room temperature plus a few.

Wonderful, when your platters start suffering from freezer burn you'll have to pop your HD in the microwave to thaw 'em out.

Well then, I refuse to drop any more crumbs. You hear that little mister? No more crumbs for you and your decondensers!

Al... does the name Norm Crosby come to mind by any chance here?

No. I've heard the name but it doesn't relate to anything in my mind right now. But go ahead and refer to him; I don't....er....mind.

Right, well then we'll just chalk this up to yet another reference you don't get because you live all the way .... down there.

Lets see, I'm north of the equator by a considerable amount, you're south of it by a considerable amount, if I were to go north and cross around the pole to reach you, it'd probably be further than going southwest. So I say you're down.

Al, yes, that's him. Mixes his metaphores all the time and makes no sense, now do you get the reference?
