By now most of us own a USB drive, if not several. They are a great way to move small or even large files about, and USB drives have taken the top spot for favorite portable storage. They come in all different capacities but for the most part they don't really offer much in the way of features. That is, until Swissbit put a 1GB USB drive inside a Victorinox Swiss Army knife.

How well does the knife work?lmao
At first I thought it was kind of a stupid idea, but then I thought about, if you carry a flash stick on you why not have a swiss army knife on it? Who knows when it might be useful.

That's one of the most stupid things I've ever saw.
If you want a Swiss Knife, go and buy a Swiss Knife.
If you want a USB Flash Drive, just buy one.
But, I would never buy a combined USB Flash Drive and SWISS Knife.

One thing to keep in mind....

You should also be aware that carrying a knife in your pocket is no longer acceptable as a general rule. At work, in public, and especially in an airport, if someone sees you pull out this knife to cut something, they might just scream for the police. You can thank the terrorists for this hightened state of alertness, but you can't ignore it. So I personally would stick with a USB key by itself, and forgo the knife. Consider this bad market timing for a product introduction... :?

They have a travel safe version that is just the flash drive, the pen, and the LED light.

    But...

...if it looks like a knife case, they will stop you at the airport and search you person or luggage until they find it. They may even take it, since it still looks like a knife. The lack of a blade will keep you from being arrested, but you still won't be traveling with it. Same thing with a toy gun. They aren't going to let that pass through security, as it could be used on an airplane to scare people. Who's going to challenge a guy swinging a toy gun around? Who's going to challenge a guy swinging a swiss army knife case around? Maybe I would, maybe I wouldn't.

I am still prefer to have just plain usb drive and let the swiss knife be it's own little simpel tool.

its an ok design, just when it comes to things like that ur screwed :|
But when u think about it, not everyone travels on a airplane, in fact i have never been on one :|
ps: a Guy with a plastic/toy gun, is on of the most deadliest men in the world, he will drown u and maybe even Break ur back, or cut ur lip, not a suggestion to take then on :|
