Every computer has a keyboard. Most people choose to use the free one that came with their system. Others are buying keyboards with flashy features, but the Das Keyboard does not try to lure consumers in with those features, extra buttons, or cool lighting. Instead, its main selling point is its lack of a certain feature that everyone has come to expect from their keyboard. This keyboard has no characters printed on its keys.

You got your hands on one of those? Man, I need to snag one of those to review. I've been debating getting it for a while now but I just couldn't wrap my head around justifying it. $80 for a keyboard is a lot when you can't get a hands on idea of what it's like. Looks wise, there's not much to see, so it's all about the feel and how can you get the feel without getting hands on? No stores carry the thing so it's impossible to decide. I'd like to try it though, being a touch typist I can imagine it might be very nice.

Yep, it's all blank, but it's the weighted keys that are supposed to make it something special.

Although I enjoyed the keyboard, I'm still using the HP keyboard... mostly because my father still does one key at a time...

No Al, I didn't. But that's okay. Asking for a replacement pair of panties would be this.

Grosses Al möchte, daß Sie ihn mit einem Wiedereinbaupaar Schlüpfer liefern, weil er poopflecke ganz über seinen gegenwärtigen erhalten hat.

Oh yeah... I keep forgetting. That's also something dumb people too, the whole your=you're thing. Like...

    Your nuts.

Now, are we talking about somebody's bag of honey roasted peanuts or are we calling someone nuts here?

Actually we're discussing somebody's snack food. But I guess in the land down under it just doesn't matter. :)

I guess I should be grateful you don't say "ur", that's so bad.

Apparently you folks haven't been clued in as yet. The Das Keyboard is a Key Tronic E0360xxxx (< $20. for most versions at Provantage.com) with the keys blacked out. I've got a $60. roll of black electrical tape here that I can sell you... ;)
. You wonder why no fancy logo? If you were running a scam that was sure to be found out eventually, would you try to maximize your profit in any way possible for as long as the scam could run? So why spend money on a logo designer?
. But don't feel too bad, Maximum PC magazine got sucked in too...

    Are you sure?

Zepper - I'm not surprised that it's based on an existing design, but are you sure it's the same key action, internal design, and quality components?:frog:

No, he's 100% correct, Das Keyboard IS just a revamped Keytronic keyboard. I'm surprised you "reviewers" didn't catch on to this and do a writeup already. It's going to hit the fan pretty soon I think, they're bound to get sued.
