I had this virus on my computer...I have already kicked myself because
I knew better than to open the attachment and I did it anyway!

Well I got the virus cleaned from the system but now I cannot connect
to the Internet. I have a wireless network at home and everything
still works because I can use my laptop. But my desktop will not
connect....I see the network but I am thinking it is a WinSock issue
or registery issue...anyone have any ideas betore I go and reformat
    the hard drive??

    Thanks

instead of reformatting if ya cant figure out the problem, try installing
your OS on top of itself

    Run SFC /scannow
    http://www.updatexp.com/scannow-sfc.html

To check for missing or corrupt files.

Thanks! I was unable to get it working so I did go ahead and to a
install of my OS over itself...I had to uninstall SP2 to run it and I
think I messed something up with my video card - so off to fix that
issue now. BUT more importantly - I have internet connectiity again!!

    Thanks for your help
