My son let a friend use his computer and now on startup it asks for a Admin
    password.
I told him to just click okay without entering a password and proceed.
I understand the security of having a password but my son doesn't want
either the pop-up or a password.
My question is how do I get this Admin password pop-up to go away without
    reformating and starting over.
    Thanks for any help.

Your son's friend has probably managed to create a net
    framework account on the PC.
Most users can safely delete it.
    Go to control panel/user accounts.
