    Question,

I get, when starting up the pc, in the taskbar messages that some device
drivers can not be loaded into memory.
These are drivers for the dvd player and dvd burner.
When i go to the device manager i can see that there are some drivers
    (cdr4_2k.sys and cdralw2k.sys) with a red cross.

How can i remove the drivers?

I allready tried to rename these .sys files. But when starting the pc again,
the mesaages are gone and i do not have my dvd and burner anymore.
These are then in the device manager with a yellow (!).

Any help will be greatly appriciated!!

    Regards,

    Erik

Try removing the drive in the device manager.
Windows will reinstall on the next boot.
