The screen resolution of my Remote Desktop connection drops to 8bit when I
connect to a 64bit XP Pro systems using Remote Desktop with resolutions
    higher than 2400 x 1200.

I found Microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942610 for Windows Server,
but I can't find any hot fixes for XP Pro. "Color depth is unexpectedly
changed to 8-bit when a high screen-resolution setting is". This pacth won't
    install on

Does anyone know a workaround for this?
