Anyone had dealings with them? Good service?

We recently had dealings with them. The quality of service left
    something to be desired.

Got some of those video labels a few years ago - is that what you're
    talking about?

The first lot we got arrived within a week. The second lot took about
2 months, and was accompanied by a scrawled out note saying "sorry,
didn't notice your order. There isn't a promotion on at the moment",
which I thought was pretty shithouse.

The labels themselves are great, though.

I thought that they were computer recyclers and an auction
    house?

Oh. Looks like I'm talking about something completely different...

Well, I see that someone in this thread has an unfavourable
opinion of them. However, I've also heard the opposite. They
picked up a heap of gear from us pretty promptly, but I
    don't know what happened subsequently.

    Cheers,

    Cliff

They specialise in reselling ex lease gear etc

A friend bought 10 PCs from them for his school. They shipped with only
half the agreed amount of RAM and some of the keyboards predated Windows
95 with only 101 keys. Extra RAM was shipped but some of it was too slow
for the motherboards. Of the 10 computers two had faulty CD ROM drives
and one had a failed hard drive.

I think that accepted norms of quality control were not followed in this
    instance.

I got 3 monitors from them once.

They took ages to respond to e-mails, so long in fact the special was over
and they threatened to charge me the usual price. They had overlooked my
e-mail for 1 month, when I mailed them again and they apologised.

But once they knew what we were doing the goods arrived promptly, were
sufficiently packaged, and were in good nick.

    Blobby.
