    Hello

my mozilla browser reloads yahoo page by itself, how can that be and can
    I fix it?

also the main reason for this post is, how can I save a java applet so I
don't have to connect to the net every time I want to use it.

    thanks

    Explain what the first means.

I think that is nothing to do with a specific browser, it's a HTML feature.
If you look at the source of the "self reloading" site you will find
    something like this <META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="300">.
This means the HTML tells the browser to refresh the page every 300 secs.
Not sure if you can disable execution of a particular html tag.

There is an extension that forces the reload of a page at a custom time.
I don't know if it can override the coded reloading, if you select for
example to reload after 30 minutes, I'd think not. However you can try.

"The Reload Every extension adds an option to the context menu (the menu you
obtain by right clicking on the web page you're currently viewing) to reload
the web page you are viewing every so many seconds or minutes."

It's a requested feature in Bugzilla
    [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83265] -- there is an
extension called Toolbar Enhancements that has a button for disabling
refresh... but it's only for FF.

while I am reading say the news in yahoo, the effect you get when you
hit the "Reload Current Page" botton on the top tool bar happens but
without me actually hitting that botton.
