Relational vs MapReduce

Discussion in 'NZ Computing' started by Lawrence D'Oliveiro, Apr 14, 2009.

approaches are called for to deal with modern data-collection applications,
    like Google, for example.

But, you know, there's still a lot to be said for a technology, however old,
that was built on a pretty sound mathematical footing to begin with.
