Reformatting win XP Pro

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Cheekycharlie, Aug 4, 2003.

  1. I use win XP Pro. My system is partitioned C: D: and E:.
C: Holds XP, D: Prog files and E: Docs and photos.

After reformatting is it best to put the drivers for my scanner, printer etc
on the same drive as my OS or can I put them on the D: drive?

    Thanks for any help.

The OS will install the drivers to the C: drive, but you can archive the
driver files where ever you want.
