    Hi,

Is there a way to move/copy/delete registry files or restore the
registry to a state from a backup without the recovery console? Also,
    my drive is NTFS.

    Thank You.

If you prepare for such an event there is, ERUNT
    http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/

If you didn't prepare for it, there's always a win98 boot disk
    www.bootdisk.com (win98se OEM) that loads NTFS4DOS
    http://www.datapol.de/dpe/freeware/

Or the many LiveCD's available like Knoppix
    http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/index-en.html
