Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by noreply@invalid, Sep 29, 2004.

  1. Coolwebsearch Trojan

I have the above Trojan which when the laptop is switched of reinstall
    through the recover file.

I understand to remove the Trojan from the laptop completely and not have it
recover is to remove the recover file, is this correct if so how do remove
the recover file and will it stop the laptop running any other programmes

Download, update and use ALL of the following -- even
if you already have them installed, UPDATE THEM NOW.
Malware changes by the day, even by the hour, so you MUST
have the latest version of removal tools:

One should go to OFFICIAL sites ONLY (or their mirrors)
for any software related to security/malware. Obtaining
software through ANY third party means, including your,
website, is a risk in itself.
