reason for migration from Mozilla 1.6 to Thunderbird?

Discussion in 'Firefox' started by Wolfgang Kern, May 24, 2004.

  1. Hi there,

I have recently migrated from OE to Mozilla 1.6 and I am quite happy
with it; I am using it only for mail & news. Main reason for my change
was the poor non-html message handling in OE and security aspects. I
have now detected Thunderbird and wondering if migrating to TB would be
    recommendable?
    Any recommendations? Thanks, WK

You should probably stick with Mozilla until Thunderbird hits 1.0.
Currently, it's a bit slow and buggy. But if you want to be a guinea
pig... I mean, beta tester, then go ahead.
