Windizealots are frankly not the best people to get opinions
on hardware support. GNU/Linux has the biggest
support for hardware out of the box on the planet.
And liveCDs like Knoppix, Kanotix, Mepis (http://www.livecdlist.com )
provide instant check on hardware to see if manufacturers
are sharing friendly and release drivers for wider support.

Manufacturers like Samsung now support Linux wholesale.
And the resulting costs? - well judge for yourself.
Typical windizealot printers are never good on price
    or performance.

    http://www.ebuyer.com
Samsung ML1610 16 page per minute laser - 55 pounds

    3 x Toner Refil bottles - 15 pounds
    http://www.kmsmedia.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_Samsung_ML1615_Laser_Toner_Refill___ML_1615.html

Comes with CD with Linux drivers.

Is it not about time that Gates and Blammer sent the hit squad round to sort
out Samsung - or does Samsung realize that there is life after Microsoft.
