    If you're using OE for email like you are here for usenet, then you are
    *not* seeing anything like the true headers for those messages by default.
    Try right-clicking on the message, left-clicking on properties and then
    click on "view source". That results in the actual content of the message.
    Any filtering you do should be done with this as input.
