Worry not, it's a seperate thing that's worked out with Telecom so that when
your line dials a number starting with "0" it goes through Orcon, not
Telecom. It's for your voice line, shouldn't effect your ADSL.

    P.S.
Interestingly, I'd been with Actrix tolls for a while when I got a call from
a woman from Telecom asking why I hadn't made any toll calls in the last six
months. I told her that my tolls were with Actrix and that I was happy with
them as they were about a third of the price that I was being previously
charged by Telecom. She asked, if I didn't mind, where do I call and how
much was I being charged for them. I surfed to Actrix's page and quoted some
    figures.

She said that she could match and, in some cases, better all those prices. I
asked why then was I being charged three times that amount when I was with
telecom before? She mumbled something about times changing... I told her
that, if she could better Actrix's prices then I'd be more than happy to
change back. She'd be discounting my landline by $10 a month the same as
Actrix does for my ADSL for having my tolls business? That's when she said
she couldn't help me after all....

Whoa, let us remember that dialing 0 before the other numbers may not
involve Telecom. Try to say The toll provider of your choice, rather than
Telecom. Let people know that there is a choice.

Ah, at last competition is really alive and well. Excellent.

It does show what a rip off Tolls, landline type are, they always have been

    Whoa!
Telecom is his dialtone provider, who proides billing and toll
transport may be someone else, but if it's a POTS service the dialtone
provider is either telecom or telstra-clear and I'm pretty sure
Orocon's not available on telstra copper.

    Bye.
