3?? That's alot! More than "here" and "here" is the Chicago area.
When there is a job here, they'll pay you $25K/yr.
So, where did everyone go, and where did the jobs go?
Answer? Stuff is one hell of a lot more reliable "these days".....

Keep in mind that you're searching a headhunting firm. By no means are
they the end all of job listings in your area. The other thing I
discovered is that a lot of these IT places don't staff PC Techs. I've
called around a little in San Diego and they just don't do staffing
for those positions. I've been searching for a job for the last couple
months since I graduated college.. try these:
    http://www.careerbuilder.com
    http://hotjobs.yahoo.com

To find all the listings for your particular field, you have to dig
around and look at your local papers and local resources. There simply
is no all encompassing list of available jobs.

If there is such a serious decline in ripoff consulting jobs for PC service
.... then people like you are at least partially to blame. Why don't you
spend less time searching pimpdaddydoesn'thaveITjobsanymoresinceY2K.com and
more time trying to get a REAL job in IT or start your own show. You can't
do it? Have you ever thought it might be you or your qualifications and
    experience?

PS. You know you were more than asking for it when you imply that stuff is
more "reliable" these days. Would "stuff" be all the broken Dells, virus
infections, and other assorted problems I fix every day? Hmm more reliable?!
You could have fooled me and everyone else!
