Re: I cannot open "D" Volume. help? URGENT!

    Try unplugging the IDE (flat ribbon) cable from the hard drive ends &
    then re-plug the same cable) back in. Do this with the motherboard end
    of the cables also. Sometimes that helps for a better contact. If you
    have a SATA cable, ensure that both ends are firm in the sockets as
    the earlier SATA cables had a bad habit of falling out. Check on start-
    up (POST) for recognition of the problem hard drive.
