    I am running win 98se on a AMD 2500+ , asus A7n8x mobo, Nvivda 5200 video
card, with 512 ram. when i try and play any video Game it will run for a few
minutes then cause an error and close the program/ any game causes this. I
beleve i have traced the problem to the on broad sound card and the video
card using the same IRQ but windows shows no conflicts. My question is could
this be the problem and if so how do i force the hardware to use different
    IRQ's in win 98 se

1 - Turn off the onboard sound/video via your PCs BIOS.

2 - Don't put Re: in the subject line of your posts.
