RD-RAM compatiblity in Vpr Matrix 2000 models?

    I am thinking of upgrading my Vpr Matrix model 2000 with RD-RAM, is
    that possible?

    Having looked at several websites, it seems that only the PC2100
    DDR-RAM is what is being used.

    No, here's your chipset:
    http://www.intel.com/design/chipsets/845/

    It doesn't support RDRAM.

    IMO, even if it did support RDRAM, the upgrade would not be cost effective.
