Looks like Razer is following the likes of Icemat and Steelpad and bring sound equipment to go with their gaming gear. In addition to their mice, mouse pad, and upcoming keyboard, Razer has a sound card and headset on the way. Read on for more info...

The sound card is 7.1 channel output, 24 bit, with more than a few extra features, while the headphones have eight discrete audio drivers for optimal positional audio. Sounds pretty high tech... Its going to take a lot to get me off of intergrated sound though. The headphones looks pretty goofy and Razer is going to have a tough time beating a nice set of Sennheisers,, just like the sound card is going to have a tough time competing with Creative's awesome X-Fi ....
