RAID configuration recognises SATA drive BIOS doesn't

    Gigabyte K7 Triton GA-7N series mobo. NForce2 chipset.

    Trying to load XP onto the Maxtor drive but it doesn't show on the
    BIOS, although going into the RAID configuration it does. Have
    disabled RAID on BIOS, changed RAID to ATA etc etc, but no change.

    Ideas please.
