Question

  1. I have a computer (ABIT mobo) that has onboard hpt-366 UDMA controller. It
has 2 sets of controller plugs (one set white one set brown). It was
running win 98 se. I went to try to upgrade to win xp home, and on the
compatability list the HPT-366 UDMA controller was a BLOCKING issue. Went
ahead and tried anyway, and when it trys to boot, It gives me a blue screen
with a large alpha numerical reason why. It also says contact the
administrator (me). Does anyone have any ideas short of mobo replacement?
Any help would be MUCH appreciated! Michael
