No, I don't need dating advice. I want to know why video disks I'm
burning from my Sony HC-30 work perfectly on my computer and my DVD
player, but not on many others. I'm using it to videotape my kid, and
neither of our parents can view it on their DVD players or their
    computers.

My computer is nothing special, and it doesn't have a DVD
burner/player. I just pop it in, open Windows Media Player, and there
    it is.

    Any suggestions or explanations? Thanks.
