Question about capturing dvd to avi

    Thanks to Pron and Bob for tips how to compile 2 dvd.
    I have another question.
    How from dvd disk capture some short footage in avi format. All I found is
    capturing images. I'd like to capture say 30s of movie.

    Rip the short section, convert it to avi using one of the hundreds of tools
    around.
